Hublot has a special edition watch for sponsoring the 2018 FIFA World Cup, which will be used by the referees calling the event. Dubbed the Hublot Big Bang Referee 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia, it runs Android‘s Wear OS and possesses an Intel Atom Z34XX processor alongside a 410mAh battery that lasts up to 24 hours.
It features a 35.4mm watch face, 400 x 400 AMOLED screen, and is compatible with Bluetooth 4.1, as well as Wi-Fi. It will also highlight a countdown to the World Cup leading into each game day, and it will notify you with start times and live stats. The best part is whenever a goal is made, the display will show “GOAL” and vibrate. The versions the coaches will wear will utilize goal-line technology like the ones used by refs in football.
