'Vogue' Gives Christopher Bailey a Celebrity-Filled Goodbye
After 17 years at the helm.
In late October of 2017, British designer Christopher Bailey announced he would be leaving Burberry. And just last month, Bailey bid his farewell to the iconic fashion house during his London Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2018 show in mid-February.
To honor his final appearance for the label after seventeen years as president and chief creative officer, Vogue — along with Bailey’s celebrity friends and family — bids farewell to the quintessential British designer. Along with recording a video farewell, Vogue tapped photographer Paul Wetherell and the likes of Sienna Miller, Idris Elba, Chelsea Clinton, and Cara Delevingne along with his husband Simon Woods and their daughters Nell and Iris for a Burberry-filled photoshoot.
