Y-3 Unveils James Harden-Inspired Capsule for All-Star Weekend
Adding to “The Beard’s” off court style.

Joining adidas‘s 747 Warehouse St. festivities this year is a special Y-3 capsule inspired by James Harden. The forthcoming range is set to be comprised of apparel, footwear and accessories showcasing the Botan flower as the main focus in addition to it being incorporated on some of the aforementioned pieces.
Known as the “King of Flowers,” the Botan serves as a reflection of nobility, honor, bravery, good fortune, and respect, which also describes “The Beard’s” personality on and off the hardwood. The selection of apparel includes an oversized bomber, tailored shirt, crew sweatshirt and cropped pants all treated in stark black with the Botan flower as the perfect source of contrast.
Its footwear offering welcomes the Y-3 “BYW” BBALL sneaker which made its inaugural debut on the runway in January. The upgraded rendition of adidas’s pod-like midsole from the ’90s sees BOOST cushioning as the support system to an upper that walks the fine line between performance and streetwear. Its midsole mimics the anatomy of the foot while stretch neoprene is applied to its upper with an added zigzag lacing system for added flair.
Y-3’s James Harden-inspired capsule is set to pre-launch from February 16-17 in Los Angeles via adidas’s 747 Warehouse St. event with a global launch to follow in April.
