A Closer Look at Y-3's Fall/Winter 2018 Footwear
Chunky runners and thick soles.
Yohji Yamamoto and adidas‘s long-running Y-3 hit the Parisian runway to show off a new range of progressive sportswear designs. Accompanying the collection was an array of new sneaker silhouettes, as adventurous as the clothing itself.
In line with the recent Y-3 Kusari, Fall/Winter 2018 showcases more unconventional runners and lifestyle sneakers. Bulbous protrusions, chunky rubber midsoles and runaway stitching feature throughout the selection, with all sneakers executed in monochrome colors. Y-3 branding, bolstered by Yohji’s signature, accentuates the sneakers as classic adidas functionality — like Primeknit and BOOST — features throughout.
