SoundCloud Sends Lil Uzi Vert a Trophy for Getting the Most Followers Last Year
A huge accomplishment for the young Philly rapper.
Whether you like him or not, there’s no denying Lil Uzi Vert when it comes to his popularity on the internet. In fact, last year the Philadelphia rapper had more follows on SoundCloud than anyone else. So much so, in fact, that the music streaming company was compelled to send him a congratulatory trophy for his accomplishment. As it stands, Uzi currently has 858,000 followers on SoundCloud and is featured on five of the top 50 songs on the platform. Keep in mind this is no small feat either, as SoundCloud is one of the biggest streaming platforms in the market, and he managed to surpass every artist, from every genre for most follows in 2016.
