This year, Hollywood’s most prestigious awards event, the 89th Academy Awards, will be officially sponsored by Rolex. As part of supporting the entire Oscars night, the Swiss luxury watchmaker has designed the event’s famous Greenroom — a backstage room where presenters and Academy Award-winners relax and socialize before and after going on stage. The 1,000 square feet space took six months to design and conceptualize by Rolex’s Geneva-based interior design team. This year’s theme being Rolex’s green and gold color scheme, opulent velvet sofas and stools are paired with lush greenery and brass accents, while photos of actors wearing Rolexes in their previous silver screen roles trace the walls. Amidst the various Rolex memorabilia stands a green bar — a nod to the iconic green Rolex boxes — and a Venetian glass chandelier that pays tribute to the fluted bezel of the Swiss luxury watch.

The 89th Academy Awards will take place on February 26 at 8:30 p.m. EST.
