Shaniqwa Jarvis x Sneakersnstuff "Connection" Exhibition Debuts With Limited Edition Merch
Featuring Jarvis’s images shot on the C Train in the late ’90s.
For its first NYC artist series, Sneakersnstuff commissioned acclaimed photographer Shaniqwa Jarvis for an exhibition titled “Connections,” which displays 22 black and white images of New York’s diverse youth. Jarvis collaborated with NYC cultural anthropologist and journalist Mordechai Rubinstein for the shoot’s casting to capture the most active and interesting individuals.
In celebration of the exhibition, Sneakersnstuff has released two limited edition Shaniqwa Jarvis collaborative products: a throw blanket and hoodie. Both products feature an image from Jarvis’s archive, which were taken on the C Train in the late ’90s.
The Shaniqwa Jarvis x Sneakersnstuff “Connection” products are available now at the SNS web store and in-store at 12 Little W. 12th Street, New York City.
