Salt Bae Announces a Burger Chain in the Works
The restaurant will be named ‘Salt Bae.’

Salt Bae, after less than a month of his Nusr-Et opening in New York, has announced he’ll be continuing his food domination with a chain of cheap burger joints in America. The description of the burger project has been compared to Shake Shack but with the inclusion of table service and alcoholic beverage options.
Entitled Salt Bae, the first location of the restaurant chain will be in a 4,000-square-foot space in Los Angeles during the fall. The second is set to debut in New York City’s SoHo with one of Gökçe’s restaurant executives saying, “Multiple locations in Manhattan and Brooklyn are next.” The burger chain he already operates in Turkey under the name Nusr-Et Burger has been a hit for several already, especially since he became a viral meme sensation. In other Salt Bae (the person) news, the man may be part of an IPO package debuting this year.
