Migos's 'Culture II' Debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard 200
A successful sequel.

Migos‘s highly anticipated sequel to Culture has made some impressive moves. Releasing on January 26, Culture II has debuted at the number one spot on the Billboard 200 Albums chart. This is the biggest streaming week for an album since April of 2017 with Kendrick Lamar‘s DAMN. project. With this achievement, Migos joins an elite list by being the fifth rap group with more than one number one album. They join the Beastie Boys, A Tribe Called Quest, D12 and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. With the majority of the project’s success coming off of streams, Culture II has brought in the equivalent of 199,000 album units in its first week.
That’s not all they accomplished. Migos also tied the Beatles for most simultaneous Hot 100 singles by a group, with 14, according to Billboard. No other group has charted more than nine singles on the Hot 100 at the same time.
