Jeff Staple Shows Off Nike SB Dunk Low "Black Pigeon" Samples
Can you spot the difference?

One of our Top 10 Sneakers of 2017, Jeff Staple recently took to Instagram to show off some unreleased samples of his Nike SB Dunk Low “Black Pigeon,” some more unusual than others.
The first — now deleted — post features a striking take on the sneaker, accented with a white Swoosh and panels, while the two remaining posts showcase sneakers closer in line with the actual drop. The first iteration features a pigeon on the insole and tonal branding on the tongue — the final sneaker featured a “Pigeon Pink” Swoosh on the tongue and a pigeon-less Zoom Air sock liner. The third sample is nearly identical to the completed shoe with some very subtle differences; for instance, unlike the finished sneakers’ tonal branding, the sample boasts a leather Swoosh.
Check out the other looks below, and let us know if you like these or the completed shoe more. Meanwhile, Staple’s friend Hiroshi Fujiwara teamed up with HBX, Stone Island and mastermind WORLD for collaborative lucky red envelopes, just in time for Chinese New Year.
