OMNIGOD Delivers Adventure-Ready Spring/Summer 2018 Collection
The Japanese imprint strays from its denim roots for outdoors style.

Perhaps best known for its denim jackets and jeans, Japanese imprint OMNIGOD has returned with an array of rugged, Americana-style clothing. Emphasizing easygoing staples, hard-wearing pieces like chore coats and flannel shirts are revised with loose cuts and lightweight fabrics appropriate for the hot weather.
Ideas put forth by the label’s Fall/Winter 2017 collection return, like the layered-up aprons and organic fabrics, but with an appropriately summery twist. Shirts boast wide collars and neutral tones, with other layering pieces like sweaters and T-shirts offering complementary versatile tones and slouchy cuts. Despite the rural inspiration, subtle updates abound — a denim shirt is elevated with a quarter-zip placket, a versatile D-ring belt features muted striping and pants are cropped to the ankle, offering a contemporary twist on heritage.
