OKOKOK's Spring 2018 Lookbook Pulls Inspiration From Intergalactic Messages
Another line of artfully-branded wares.
Rising Hong Kong streetwear label OKOKOK has produced a unique lookbook for its Spring 2018 offering.
Teaming up with emerging art director Jerry Haha, the brand and its team of models head out to Tai Kok Tsui’s Bedford Studios to piece together an editorial influenced by the Earth-to-space message system Arecibo. For the clothing and presentation, OKOKOK focuses on showcasing branded items that properly portray the designers’ vision, which aims to connect alternative music, design, photography and the local communities that serve as daily inspiration for Hong Kong’s vibrant creative scene. Notably, eye-catching graphics collide with twisted, “eerie” scripts on the front of the T-shirts, presenting the appearance of a message in the midst of being decoded.
