Northern Releases Debut Furniture & Homeware Capsule
From 16 designers across seven countries.
Norwegian brand Northern — previously a lighting label named Northern Lighting — has unveiled its debut furniture and homeware collection. The capsule came together after 16 designers from seven countries contributed designs around the theme of “understated luxury,” with the whole project overseen by design studio Morten & Jonas.
The collection includes some innovative solutions to problems, with the standout pieces such as self-watering plant pots, lighting that can change direction and a sofa bed that comes without conventional coils, levers and springs. The collection — which was unveiled at Stockholm Furniture — is available now from the Northern web store.
In other interior design news, legendary British designer Tom Dixon has expanded his SUPER TEXTURE collection.
