Nike Brings Back the Air Max 1 "Aqua"
Releasing after 30 long years.
Following a limited release, Nike is set to bring back the Air Max 1 “Aqua” stateside. Originally released as a women’s exclusive colorway in 1988, the “Aqua” AM1 look is set to drop in a men’s size run for its 30th anniversary.
Fans of Nike’s nostalgic looks will soon be able to get their hands on the vibrant take on the OG AM model. The paneled upper of the Air Max 1 “Aqua” is constructed from a mixture of nubuck and fine mesh done in white, light grey and teal. While a simple white Air unit midsole and multi-color rubber outsole round up the design of the shoe.
Priced at $140 USD, the Air Max 1 “Aqua” is set to release at select Nike Sportswear retailers March 2. For more Nike news, the sportswear giant is set to bring back its Outburst running sneaker.
