Q-Tip Shares Unreleased Kendrick Lamar Single, "Want U 2 Want"
On the latest episode of his Beats 1 radio program.
During the latest episode of Abstract Radio on Beats 1, Q-Tip shared a previously unreleased single with Kendrick Lamar titled, “Want U 2 Want.” The track mixes up the pace throughout as Kendrick and Q-Tip continuously spit that they “want you to want me” to a potential lover and rap about the various intricacies of wooing a woman. Mixed in are police siren sound effects, scratches, and an expected steady drum beat.
In addition to releasing this track, Q-Tip also dropped off a single featuring Demi Lovato called “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart,” a remake of Elton John’s classic with the same name. Stream “Want U 2 Want” below and then stream the Black Panther album which was produced by K-Dot and Top Dawg.
