A Closer Look at Balenciaga's New Stripped Back Triple S

Amongst a series of recently-revealed new Triple S colorways — including a metallic silver version and more — a new design of the Balenciaga silhouette recently emerged. The more pared-back version of the sneaker comes with an off-white tonal upper, replacing the different colors and taps of the original model.
The two colorways that have currently emerged are both primarily white, with one version also featuring black touches on the midsole and pops of blue detailing. The chunky sneaker’s upper comes in a mix of high-end materials including textile, nubuck and leather — with the all-white colorway coming with pre-distressed elements. Lastly, the shoe is finished with a padded leather heel tab, Balenciaga branding on the tongue and, obviously, the now-signature Triple S stacked sole.
