PENSOLE & ASICS GEL-180 Debut Student-Designed "Fresh Up" Silhouette
Foot Locker will host the exclusive launch of the limited edition sneaker.

Foot Locker joins forces with PENSOLE Footwear Design Academy for the exclusive release of an ASICS GEL-180 sneaker created by PENSOLE students. The latest iteration of the PENSOLE and Foot Locker collaborations that began in 2015, the ‘Fresh Up’ GEL-180 was the winning design from a contest between PENSOLE pupils.
PENSOLE Master Class designers Brady Corum and Vince Lebon designed the GEL-180, which takes cues from hip-hop, blending textures and colors from microphones, turntables and graffiti with an athletic silhouette. A bold yellow and black ASICS logo appears on the medial side, with mismatched gold and blue outsoles contrasting with the otherwise clean white midsole and upper. Colorful accents also appear at the toe, the air pocket, tongue, pull tab and sock liner, accenting the trim runner with playful hues.
