Anderson .Paak is definitely a good choice for “next up.” Following news of his Aftermath signing, the rising California crooner stopped by Colbert last night to deliver yet another show-stealing performance. Supporting his recent, stellar studio album Malibu, .Paak delivered live renditions of “The Season/Carry Me” and “Silicon Valley.” His backing and touring band The Free Nationals joined him as well, with .Paak himself even flexing some impressive talents as a drummer at the showcase’s conclusion.
