A First Look at the Air Jordan 3 "Air Higher" Samples
Debuted at Justin Timberlake’s ‘Man of The Woods’ pop-up shop.

The Air Jordan 3‘s OG “Tinker” edition and Justin Timberlake‘s JTH colorway debuted at the Super Bowl LII halftime show. While the two renditions returned with an homage to the past — in celebration of the Air Jordan 3’s 30 year anniversary and to Michael Jordan and Tinker Hatfield‘s first-ever collaboration — a new series of samples, dubbed the “Air Higher,” looks to the future with a refreshed take.
First seen at Justin Timberlake’s ‘Man of The Woods’ pop-up shop, the three samples bear the same design codes as the original “Tinker” and reinterpreted JTH design, but are overhauled with different shades of tan and brown. The uppers feature a suede construction with either a black mudguard (referencing the “Tinker”) or a “Cement” mudguard (mirroring the JTH), while yellow eyelets and orange tongue lining for some vibrant contrast. Other details such as beige suede lining and off-white midsoles keep the color palette in the warm hues.
It’s unclear whether these Air Jordan 3 “Air Higher” samples will make their way to the public in the near future, but stay tuned for more information and let us know if you’re a fan of the colorways.
