adidas's Fitbit Ionic Smartwatch Will Arrive in March
Pre-orders start today.
After announcing its multiyear deal with adidas last year, Fitbit‘s partnership has come to fruition with a new Fitbit Ionic complete with exclusive training programs. Having a rocky start entering the smartwatch market, the collaboration seeks to change things for adidas with its unique design and features.
The running-focused smartwatch has an adidas-designed face inspired by race bibs and comes with the adidas Train app, which showcases six workouts and a built-in coach. The Fitbit Ionic: adidas edition is available in Ink Blue and Ice Gray and priced at $330 USD. The price point parallels Apple’s approach with its Nike device, which has an equal cost to its non-branded counterpart.
The Fitbit Ionic will be available March 19 and you can pre-order the smartwatch today through Fitbit’s webstore and other online retailers.
