Essentials: Yuta Hosokawa of READYMADE
A close look at the Japanese creative’s daily accessories.
Having recently joined up withe Girls Don’t Cry and Just Don for end-of-year collaborations, READYMADE‘s Yuta Hosokawa has had a very busy December. Still, we made time to sit down with the in-demand Japanese creative when he visited Hong Kong to explore his everyday carry.
Along with a pair of unreleased collaborative yellow Timberland boots, Hosokawa brought along a pair of small Chrome hearts bags, ideal for storing cash, business cards and other pocketable essentials. A dedicated photographer, Hosokawa doesn’t go anywhere without a camera, a Leica SOFORT in this case, stocked with Instax mini film for hi-def snapshots. To store all of the aforementioned goods, along with his preferred KENT cigarettes and an Apple iPad Pro for on-the-go communication, Hosokawa has been toting the CLOT x READYMADE Birkin Bag from the duo’s recent collaborative pop-up.
Most recently, Hosokawa was in Japan for a special First Down pop-up curated by Poggy.
