Pusha-T Mentors 10 Rising Artists to Create the '1800 Seconds' Compilation Album
An endeavor spotlighting the music industry’s newest talent.
Pusha-T and 1800 Tequila have aligned to create a unique initiative that supports 10 rising hip-hop artists through the launch of 1800 Seconds (:1800) – a curated compilation album honoring a new generation of creatives.
Situating the G.O.O.D. Music President as the project’s curator has given the young collective a maven to guide them through the industry. Heralded for their individual styles within music, the group has been given the reigns to the 30-minute recording which shows off the breadth of their talents. As a result, the group will no longer be confined to the realms of the underground, with the 1800 Seconds project becoming a national platform to distribute their self-written tracks. In tandem, the project was celebrated — at a concert in NYC — with each artist performing their songs live, alongside Pusha-T.
