CALVIN KLEIN 205W39NYC just dropped its Pre-Spring 2019 footwear collection. Filled with vibrant colors and American youth inspirations, the new collection from Chief Creative Officer Raf Simons elevates the brand’s sneaker selection by serving up a completely reimagined range that incorporates chunky silhouettes in robust colorways, while blending characteristics from skate and basketball cultures.

The Cander 7, first introduced in Pre-Fall 2018, in addition to the popular Carlos 10 and Carla 10 styles from Spring 2018, return in fresh colorways this season. Drawing influence from ’90s skate shoes, the Cander 7’s futuristic features redefine an updated slip-on lifestyle sneaker — a distinct fluorescent orange upper that’s versatile enough for the indoor and outdoor settings. As an added bonus, the sneaker also includes a large Velcro flap covering the laces that can also be tucked underneath a rubber cap slingback. Alternatively, the Carlos 10 and Carla 10 are inspired by a love of baseball caps and feature a signature neoprene sockliner. All three iterations feature an accentuating back strap that resembles an adjustable snapback hat for a customized fit.

Strike 205 is the newest member to the CALVIN KLEIN 205W39NYC family. A revamped classic runner, the Strike 205 features a 2cm-wide rubber sole wrapped from the toe to protect the upper. This protective covering is a new approach to runners, with the most eye-grabbing part being the exterior with a vast array of yellow, white, red, grey and blue tones.
