After producer Jason Blum’s announcement, Jordan Peele‘s hotly anticipated follow-up to Get Out now has an official plot synopsis.
Us, starring Lupita Nyong’o and Winston Duke (Black Panther), will feature a mother and father taking their kids to their beach house expecting to unplug and unwind with friends. “But as night descends, their serenity turns to tension and chaos when some shocking visitors arrive uninvited,” says the official synopsis.
According to Slashfilm, the plot will be similar to Darren Aronofsky’s divisive thriller Mother!” and expect the horror film to be as ominous as its predecessor due to its “intentionally vague” plot.
Us is scheduled to debut in theaters on March 15, 2019.
