Featured for this week’s installment of Essentials is one of the most talented artists from Toronto, Jazz Cartier. The Marauding in Paradise mastermind likes to keep it simple and effective; he’s not trying to carry around a bunch of extra stuff when he’s on the go. He’s got an audiophile’s preference when it comes to headphones; Jazz dons an all-black pair of Master and Dynamic MH40. Based on the Garnier facial touch and Omega 3 pills, it’s safe to assume that Jazz is both a hygienic and health-conscious type of guy. The rapper makes sure he stays smelling good by keeping his cologne of choice, Chanel Bleu, and his Secret deodorant close by. He’s a drinker and a smoker, carrying a Bombay Sapphire gin and a pack of Belmont cigarettes with him. Other than that, he has the standard iPhone and MacBook combo. Last but definitely not least, he flexes a little bit of cash — as you can see, he keeps it all Grants and Benjamins (we’re not sure why he doesn’t carry around Canadian money, though).
