Breitling Pays Homage to Wayne Gretzky With a Limited Edition Chronomat 44
A nod to #99’s incredible feat of scoring 50 goals in 39 games.

With 894 goals, 2,857 points and four Stanley Cups to his name, there’s no doubt that Wayne Gretzky is the greatest hockey player of all time. Donning the iconic 99 jersey, “The Great One” set 61 NHL records throughout his playing career (60 of them still stand today), but none of them stand out more than his incredible feat of scoring 50 goals in just 39 games during the 1980-1981 season. To commemorate this record, watchmaker Breitling has unveiled a highly limited version of its Chronomat 44 timepiece, featuring a luxurious gold case, individual numbering and Gretzky’s logo placed on the subdial in the 9 o’clock position. Finished off with a genuine black leather strap and the legend’s signature on the rotor, this beautiful watch is limited to just 50 pieces and can be purchased from select Breitling retailers for a cool $31,465 USD.
