The first season of Donald Glover’s new FX show Atlanta has earned the “Redbone” artist piles of praise in recent months, and last night Glover finally began to receive some official recognition for his work. Nominated for Best Actor in a Comedy Series for his work as Atlanta‘s central character Earnest Marks, Glover was called to the podium following news of his victory in the category. Surprised at the decision but humble as ever, Glover stepped up and delivered a brief, but honest acceptance speech.
