Nike Celebrates Cristiano Ronaldo's 2016 Achievements With a Commemorative Mercurial Superfly CR7
Ronaldo’s shimmery “Vitórias” boot is limited to just 777 pairs.

2016 has been one of the most hardware-packed yet for Cristiano Ronaldo as the 31-year-old superstar took his Real Madrid and Portuguese squads to the UEFA Champions League title and the UEFA Euro 2016 championship, respectively, on his way to his fourth Ballon d’Or. Thus, it’s only fitting that Nike would celebrate CR7’s achievements by crafting a special rendition of his own signature Mercurial Superfly. Aptly dubbed the “Vitórias,’ the commemorative boot boasts a “Pure Platinum” Flyknit upper — complete with a subtle metallic blue shine that fades from heel to toe — while a metallic gold cleat plate pays homage to Ronaldo’s aforementioned trophies. “Vitórias” text (Portuguese for “Victories”) even graces the heel of each boot while iridescent CR7 logos and Swooshes provide the finishing touches.
Limited to just 777 pairs, the Mercurial Superfly CR7 “Vitórias” is currently on tap for a release sometime in the early part of 2017.
