Disney Pixar‘s acclaimed short animation film, Bao, is now available to watch online for free for one week only. Originally screened in theatres before the Incredibles 2 movie, the heartwarming short tells the universal tale of parent-child relationships while giving a lens into the Chinese immigrant community.
Bao was created by Chinese-Canadian artist Domee Shi and largely inspired by her own upbringing. Running just under eight minutes, the sentimental short shows a homemade dumpling that comes to life and teaches an empty-nesting mother that “nothing stays cute and small forever.”
