New 'Peanuts' Series Is Coming to Apple's Streaming Service

Apple is adding the Peanuts to its ever-growing lineup of shows and films for its yet to be released streaming service. Children’s company DHX Media will produce the exclusive series’ episodes, shorts, and specials for Apple.

Classic characters such as Charlie Brown and Snoopy will return for the new show. Snoopy will also don astronaut gear for short-form content revolving around science, a joint agreement between Peanuts Worldwide and NASA to inspire more students into space exploration.

The gang joins Apple’s upcoming lineup of content, which includes Steven Spielberg‘s anthology, Amazing Stories from La La Land director Damien Chazelle, a psychological thriller series from M. Night Shyamalan, and two family-focused animated films.

In other Peanuts-related news, acclaimed French artist André Saraiva launched an exclusive print entitled Mr. A Loves Snoopy.
