With his anticipated third album Stranger on the horizon, iconic Swedish rapper Yung Lean has unveiled a new short film sharing the same name. Directed by Suzie and Leo, the film sees Lean living life as a fugitive following a massacre. You’ll see him going through a transformative experience from fugitive to demon to sad clown, and then finally he returns to being a man. The Western-inspired short was said to be heavily inspired by the films of Takeshi Kitano as well as satirical comedies and features snippets of songs from his upcoming Stranger the album.

The film arrives following a big week for Yung Lean as he prepares to release his third album Stranger. Earlier this week, he premiered album track “Metallic Intuition“on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 radio show where he also detailed some of the influences for his upcoming project. Watch above.
