KAYTRANADA & Ty Dolla $ign Come Together for "NOTHIN LIKE U"
The track is part of a new mini-project from Kaytra.
A month after appearing — via his production work — on Mick Jenkins’ Pieces of a Man album, KAYTRANADA serves up an all-new single with Ty Dolla $ign, “NOTHIN LIKE U.”
KAYTRANADA and Ty Dolla $ign’s “NOTHIN LIKE U” collaboration is part of a five-record mini-project from the former artist, who plans to drop the entire effort tomorrow. Taking to Twitter, Kaytra also reveals that he’s currently working on cranking out new music for his next major album, which he says he has been working on for all of 2018. The multi-talented Canadian producer’s last multi-track offering was his Artscience Remixes EP with Robert Glasper, an eight-track release that debuted this past April. Including “NOTHIN LIKE U,” this Friday’s drop will be made up of three new compositions and two instrumental versions of its vocal cuts.
