Are These the Best "Cactus Jack" Customs to Date?
A clever take on the motif.
Though Travis Scott refrained from applying the “Cactus Jack” theme to his signature Air Force 1, a group of customizers has seized the opportunity to unite the two designs. We’ve already seen Air Monarchs done up in “Cactus Jack” style, but these Air Force 1s are an entirely different kind of beast.
The two pairs of shoes were revamped by Herby Santana, Kevin Krib and Dizz Gavins, with a simple color scheme elevated by clever, handmade additions. A clean white base and laces emphasizes the green outsole on one pair, while another replaces the white upper with matching earthy tones. Additional detailing includes Swooshes replaced by spike- and rose-accented cactuses and floral patches applied to the tongue, above the laces. Bespoke lacelocks complete the design, adding glistening flair that recalls Scott’s plentiful chains
