Boosie Badazz's Blues Album Is Dropping This Thanksgiving
Entitled ‘Boosie Blues Café.’
Baton Rouge hip-hop icon Boosie Badazz has announced his intentions to share his upcoming blues album Boosie’s Blues Café this Thanksgiving. This marks the artist’s first blue album, of which the rapper has stated wasn’t thrown together casually, believing his stylistic switch will translate well.
“My blues album is a real blues album,” Boosie said in a statement. “Blues beats, blues instruments. It’s one of the coldest blues albums people will hear.” Although a blues album is unexpected from the rapper, this isn’t the first time Boosie has ventured into broader sounds, as he once collaborated with Louisiana-based musician Keith Frank on a zydeco song called “Haterz.”
