It’s been just over a year since London-based band The xx officially announced I See You, the group’s third album and return from five years away. Since then, the band has toured the world, held and sold out a residency back on home turf in London. That past year is now the subject of a new series of films, which will look at the group and its fans all over the world.

The first in this series — titled We See You – Berlin – has been directed by Berlin-based filmmaker Sylvie Weber and mixes live and documentary footage from The xx’s headline set at the Lollapalooza festival in Berlin. These shots are shown alongside intimate portraits of some of the band’s fans in Berlin, who discuss what it is that the band means to them.

You can take a look at the short film above. In other music news, Frank Ocean has hinted that he has finished working on another album.
