ROLE MODEL Delivers Passionate Performance in "six speed" Video
The new record is produced by Blake Slatkin.
ROLE MODEL, born Tucker Pillsbury, shares his the video for “six speed,” a tender Blake Slatkin-produced diary entry from Pillsbury about enduring the vulnerable moments in life and feelings of isolation. “The six speed bike is supposed to be a metaphor for manic depression,” he explains to HYPEBEAST. “The six speeds on mybike are like having six different moods that just shift back and forth whenever they please.”
“Six speed” follows up the release of his previous single “play the part.” Back in 2017, Pillsbury suffered a life-threatening ski accident, which spirraled him into depression. To cope with it, he released his Arizona in the Summer EP. ROLE MODEL is currently gear up to release more new music in the near future.
