Latest 'Pokémon: Let’s Go!' Trailer Showcases Red, Green, and Leaf
Three main characters from the previous games.
Following the reveal of old-school legendaries making its way to the title, the latest trailer for Pokémon: Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee showcases the protagonist of the original games, Red, alongside his rival Green and the alternative protagonist to the Pokémon Red & Blue titles, Leaf.
In the footage above, we begin with appearances from the Elite Four of the Kanto region, featuring familiar faces like Bruno and Lance, but then we see the main characters of which this game is inspired from before the enhanced Yellow version released. Blue can be seen conversing, Red about to do battle with our new protagonist, and we get a brief glimpse of Leaf.
There’s no news on what role the characters will be playing here, however, this marks Red and Blue’s third appearance in a Pokémon game following the adult versions of themselves introduced in Pokemon Sun & Moon. This also marks Leaf’s first appearance in the franchise since her Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen debut.
Grab Pokémon: Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee on Nintendo Switch when it drops November 16.
In other news, Pokémon and Tamagotchi are about to do a collaboration.
