It was just yesterday that Heron Preston announced his upcoming collaboration with Nike eyewear in the HP Tailwind. Today, the Swoosh officially announces its release, while offering a brief dive into the mind of the New York designer.

Reminiscing about his younger days while working at Nike, Preston says, “Nike is an innovation company; there are so many innovations that I don’t think the majority of my community is aware of.” With that being said, the decision to choose the Tailwind sunglasses as his first official Nike collab was an easy choice for Heron.
