Nike‘s Air Max 98 is arriving in a “University Red” colorway that might bring to mind the Supreme x Nike AM98 collaboration from 2016, which was borrowed cues from Prada‘s America’s Cup sneakers. This general release edition features the same red panel scheme as the Supreme AM98, albeit with some slight differences and the lack of Supreme‘s “World Famous” branding.

Starting from the top, this “University Red” Air Max features a white mesh upper with red leather paneling and red nubuck mudguards. The contrast two-tone look is maintained throughout the entire sneaker with red ribbon accents at the lacing system and heel pull tab, as well as a white midsole and red outsole combo. Branding arrives via tonal embroidered Air insignia at the heel and mini Swooshes on the red leather panels, while a strip of 3M reflective material traces around the entire shoe at mid-height.

The Nike Air Max 98 “University Red” colorway will release in the near future for $160 USD at Nike’s web store and select retailers.

Let us know if this is a cop or drop and for more simple colorways, check out the Air Jordan 1 Yellow “Not For Resale.”
