Latest 'Narcos: Mexico' Trailer Highlights a Violent Showdown
Follow the rise of the DEA and first Mexican cartel.
With Narcos: Mexico slated to hit Netflix on November 16, a new trailer has been released demonstrating the action that we’ll see out of this new prequel series. The footage above follows our dual protagonists DEA agent Kiki Camarena (Michael Peña) and cartel drug lord Miguel Ángel Félix Gallardo (Diego Luna) in 1980s Guadalajara.
The title follows the early days of both the DEA and its corrupt government practices alongside the criminal aspect and how the first Mexican cartel rose to prominence. Although the series allows viewers with fresh eyes to pop into the show, there will be old characters from the original Narcos series making appearances here, as will situations that’ll reverberate and explain plot points from the first three seasons.

In other Diego Luna news, it has been confirmed his character from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will have his own spin-off series.
