MoneyBagg Yo Drops ‘RESET,’ His Third Project of the Year
J. Cole, YG, Kodak Black, Jeremih, Kevin Gates, and Rvssian all make guest appearances.

Memphis rising star MoneyBagg Yo releases his debut album RESET today (Nov. 2). The 15-track LP is lead by the Future-featured single “OKAY” with J. Cole, YG, Kodak Black, Jeremih, Kevin Gates, and Rvssian making guest appearances. RESET follows up Bet On Me, which was released in August and 2 Heartless that dropped in February.
On the inspiration for his new LP, MoneyBagg Yo says he listened to his fans who wanted him to go back to his roots. During that time, he focused on creating songs depicting real-life struggles, such as his bleak early days of sleeping on floors in cramped apartments after dropping out of high school to concentrate solely on making money and taking care of his family.
“I’m trying to un-polish, like ‘reset’ myself,” Yo told Billboard. “I’m trying to take myself back to when I first came in. That’s what the fans miss and that’s how they accepted me, so I kind of want to go back and give them that.”
RESET was released via N-Less Entertainment/Interscope Records and also featured production from DrumGodd, Javar Rockamore, Hitmaka, 808 Mafia, Tay Keith and Retro Future. Stream the LP below.
