John C. Reilly Freestyles Over Kanye & Common's "Southside" On 'Sway in the Morning'
The actor’s hottest bars since “Boats N Hoes.”
John C. Reilly of Talladega Nights, Step Brothers, and Disney’s upcoming Wreck-It Ralph sequel was a guest on the Sway in the Morning show and ended up freestyling over Kanye and Common’s 2007 “Southside.” Taking influence from Spoonie Gee’s 1981 single “Spoonie Is Back,” the actor kicked an old school flow with bars far better than they have to be.
Reilly has proven himself musically inclined, as seen in the satire biopic Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story and his drumming abilities as Dale Doback in Step Brothers. It seems rap is just part of a broader music talent. The actor is no stranger to the genre, appearing on A$AP Mob’s Cozy Tapes, Vol. 2 in a number of skits.
