JAY-Z Says National Anthem Protests Are Founded On "Injustice"
J-Hova has his say.

Following a few technical difficulties, JAY-Z is back on the 4:44 trail, and last night during his show at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, Hova weighed in on the current political hot topic of taking a knee during the national anthem. JAY-Z has always been in touch with and vocal about the political landscape that surrounds him — only last week, he slammed the American justice system in an op-ed for the New York Times.
“Protesting, putting our fists in the air ― they have sh*t to do with the flag,” JAY-Z stated. “It’s all about injustice. We standing up for injustice.” The issue at hand is evidently much larger than the flag itself and the Roc Nation mogul was intent on making that point clear. He continued, “young men, young black men, are dying, and it’s not even a black and white issue… it’s a human issue. If a young 16-year-old child leaves the house and never comes back, everybody in here should be affected―black, white, short, tall, whomever. Everybody should be affected because that’s a young life that was cut short.”
