Having launched the RS-0 silhouette in February, PUMA has continued to update its RS technology with the new RS-X line. The new line takes the 1980s high-quality cushioning technology and adds a modern aesthetic including a bulky new design, new materials and a bold color palette.

The first sneaker in the RS-X collection to drop is the RS-X Reinvention. The new silhouette features a mesh and textile upper complete with leather and suede overlays. Other features include a molded sockliner and, obviously, the RS technology on the modsole. The sneaker’s color palette — white, blue, red and black — is based on classic sneakers from PUMA’s archive. The RS-X Reinvention is poised to launch via the PUMA web store on November 1.

Following the arrival of the Reinvention silhouette, PUMA will continue to add to the RS-X line with new sneakers inspired by everything from television to automotive. This is set to include a collaboration with Hot Wheels to celebrate its 50th anniversary and a link-up with Motorola.
