Nike's Zoom Fly SP Nods to the Chicago Marathon
Another clean city theme.
Continuing its streak of marathon city-themed sneakers, most recently including the Epic React Flyknit “Paris” and Zoom Fly SP “London,” Nike now looks to Chicago for its latest special edition runner. The new Zoom Fly SP “Chicago” edition releases ahead of the 41st annual Chicago marathon on October 7.
The colorway is dominated by “Summit White” from its translucent upper to its midsole, while graffiti-style graphics at the Swoosh and “CHI” printed with ‘18 in “University Red” at the heel shout out to Windy City. Other details include white suede inner lining and a red insole with branding from Bank of America — the official sponsor of the Chicago marathon since 2008.
The Nike Zoom Fly SP “Chicago Marathon” is available now for $150 USD at Nike’s web store. The Chicago marathon will take place this Sunday, October 7 at Grant Park at 7:20 a.m. CST.
