Stone Island Highlights "Iridescent Coating Tela" For FW18 Video Lookbook
The brand’s latest innovation receives its own visual breakdown.
Earlier this week, Stone Island unveiled an iridescent-focused Fall/Winter 2018 capsule collection. That line utilized distinct military elements and functional details, while delivering new outerwear pieces and other items using the label’s latest textile innovation. Now, Stone Island has put together a special promotional vignette to give customers a better look at the Stone Island Iridescent Coating Tela.
To produce the reflective material, “iridescent nylon canvas is bonded to a golden-pink polyurethane film, with parts in Reflex Matte fabric made from a polyester base constructed of thousands of resin-coated glass microsphere.” You can check out the unique aspects of that process in the visual above.
