Elon Musk Trademarks "Teslaquila" for a Distilled Agave Liqour Drink
Just when you thought the antics were over.

Though Elon Musk recently resigned as Tesla’s chairman following a rogue tweet, that hasn’t stopped the billionaire inventor from attempting a new kind of venture. Musk took to social media to confirm that Tesla has filed a trademark application for “Teslaquila,” reportedly seeking to create “a distilled agave liquor” under the name. After reaffirming the rumors, Musk tweeted out an apparent mock-up of the eventual Teslaquila bottle.
Originally conceived as part of an April Fool’s day Tweet, the playfully-named beverage apparently will actually see the light of day sometime soon. See Musk’s joking tweet and the more recent follow-up below.
If nothing else, Tesla’s extremely successful third quarter has likely guaranteed more playful Musk shenanigans in the future.
There are many chapters of bankruptcy and, as critics so rightly pointed out, Tesla has them *all*, including Chapter 14 and a half (the worst one).
