St. Vincent Shares 'MASSEDUCTION' Rework 'MassEducation'
With Thomas Bartlett on the piano, the new album features stripped-back renditions of songs like “Young Lover” and “Fear The Future.”
One year after dropping 2017’s album, MASSEDUCTION, St. Vincent reimagines every song for a new project titled MassEducation. The new version of the album features Thomas Bartlett on piano and Annie Clark — St. Vincent’s real name — on vocals. The duo recorded the entire thing live while working on MASSEDUCTION and the new version is much more stripped with minimal production.
In a press release, Clark describes the new album as “two dear friends playing songs together with the kind of secret understanding one can only get through endless nights in New York City.”
