Versace to Showcase Pre-Fall 2019 During New York Fashion Week

The Italian label is temporarily heading stateside.

Though Versace was snapped up by Capri Holdings (formerly the Michael Kors Group), the fashion house has been planning its Pre-Fall 2019 runway show even before the acquisition. The event will be Versace’s first-ever American runway presentation, held during New York Fashion Week. What makes this presentation extra-special is that Donatella Versace has scheduled the event to go down on what would have been her brother Gianni‘s 71st birthday.

The show is set for December 2 — expect plenty of designs influenced by Gianni Versace’s loungey, effortlessly luxe creations. For now, watch Versace’s Spring/Summer 2019 presentation below.

Elsewhere, Versace issued a The Notorious B.I.G.-inspired set of sunglasses.
