G-SHOCK Adds New Models to Its "Full Metal" 5000 Collection
All-black and an updated gold version.
Casio‘s G-SHOCK has unveiled two new models for its “Full Metal” 5000 collection which debuted back in March. The collection will now include an all-black and an updated gold metal GMW-B5000, joining the original silver metal version.
Both watches have the same square-shaped bezel and brick-patterned face, 42.88 mm diameter impact-resistant, stainless steel case and bracelet, and a Haze-designed logo backplate. An updated design detail is the new negative STN LCD display, which presents white digits on a black background. The battery-powered quartz movement can recharge via Tough Solar, while a Multi-Band 6 atomic timekeeping and Bluetooth connectivity provide precise automatic time calibration.
Both iterations of the Full Metal GMW-B5000 watch will retail for $550 USD each, releasing in November at G-SHOCK’s web store and select retailers.
